Following massive, sold-out shows in 2014 and 2015, Pure Gold Live returns to the Sydney stage for an early Christmas present with some of the biggest '70s, '80s and '90s Australian chart toppers.

To help unwrap the city’s new Darling Harbour entertainment precinct, 20 massive acts including Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool), Dragon, John Paul Young and Glenn Shorrock, will come together for one night only on Friday, 23 December 2016.

This Sydney live event will be hosted by WSFM101.7’s Drive presenter Jason Staveley who can’t wait to put the ICC Sydney Theatre through its paces with a night like no other.

“Every year Pure Gold Live gets bigger and better and this year is no exception! It’s going to be a huge show packed with all those bands that we loved in the '70s, '80s and '90s, each playing their most-loved hits. You’ll be moving to every song, singing every word, as it’s played by the original stars – it’s such a unique opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. I can’t think of a better way to get ready for the festive season,” said Staveley.

Listen to the best hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s
