Three of the best recipes from celebrity chef Curtis Stone

Celebrity chef Curtis Stone is a down-to-earth Aussie chef who is quickly taking over as the King of Cooking. Impossible not to like, his recipes are even more enticing than this Melbourne boy’s cheeky smile.

Curtis Stone may have been interviewed by the Oprah Winfrey and have appeared on TV shows such as MasterChef yet he still credits his mum with teaching everything he knows about food and cooking.  

“My mum, Lozza, is a great cook, in particular a phenomenal baker, and I would watch her every move while she baked. I am very partial to her corn and bacon muffins so she makes these for me whenever I visit. I still call on her regularly for advice when I’m developing recipes – thanks Lozza!” 

He also also credits his granny with teaching him how to make the best-ever Yorkshire fudge. “I was 4 years old, just a little tucker, when I had my first, truly memorable food experience. I tried my granny’s Yorkshire fudge and it was one of the first really sweet things that I’d tasted. I just couldn’t get enough of it. Whenever I went to granny’s place, from that first taste forward, we’d get busy in the kitchen and make fudge together. It wasour thing.”

Since then he got his start working with legendary chef Marco Pierre White in London and has now released his sixth book. “The recipes that make up this cookbook are the ones I cook at home,” says Stone. Here are three of the best extracted from Good Food, Good Life by Curtis Stone.
