Lisa Wilkson has shared a never before seen photo of herself just minutes before going live on-air.
The Project host was due to begin the show in just four minutes when she decided to jump on Instagram instead and share a glimpse of what she actually looks like.
The 62-year-old appeared to be smiling in the mirror selfie which showed her frizzy hair before make-up and hair tackled her just four minutes before the show began at 6.30pm.
“Minutes to air hair. Let’s do this!! @theprojecttv,” her caption read.
Fans wouldn’t have guessed that photo was taken four minutes prior as Lisa soon appeared with her perfect hair-do as she presented the show.
Social media users applauded the host for showing the realities of live TV.
“Absolutely Gorgeous and Such a Positive role model…for young women and men,” someone wrote.
“I’m obsessed with this!” someone else commented.
“I would actually LOVE that,” another wrote.
