Melissa Doyle left Channel Seven in August last year after an incredible 25 years of service.

Now, the 51-year-old sat down with The Advertiser to reveal how she’s embracing getting older.

The former Sunrise and Sunday Night host said she’s not worried about the “laugh lines” around her eyes, preferring to view them as “little trophies”.

“I don’t shy away from the fact that I’ve got some laugh lines around my eyes,’ Melissa told the publication.

“I don’t really want to change those because I see them as little trophies. I’ll do the best I can to maintain my skin and I’ll embrace the rest.”

Melissa also shared her tips for feeling fabulous at any age, including drinking two litres of water a day, prioritising classes at the gym, and admitting to her family when she’s struggling with her mental health.

“I’ve tried to talk to [my kids, daughter Natalia and son Nicholas] about how I’m feeling so that they know, should they experience any of those things, [that] it’s natural, we all do,” she said.

During Melissa’s career, she hosted several of Seven’s flagship programs, including Sunrise, Today Tonight, 7News, Sunday Night and The Latest.
