New mothers Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been spotted together on a rare night out.

The royal sisters attended an intimate dinner hosted by Sofia Blunt to launch the Loci vegan sneakers in aid of Blue Marine Foundation on Wednesday night in London.

Eugenie, who recently attended the COP26 Climate Conference in Glasgow, is an ambassador for the ocean protection organisation.

Both women wore simple and sleek black outfits as they posed together for a rare candid photo.

Other celebrities in attendance at the event included singer-songwriter James Blunt, supermodel Yasmin Le Bon, author Gabriela Peacock, and other distinguished supporters of the foundation.

Princess Eugenie is no stranger to fun nights out on the town, as Meghan Markle revealed in her surprise interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

The Duchess of Sussex revealed that she and Prince Harry snuck out to attend a Halloween party in secret while they were dating – and that they were joined by Princess Eugenie and her future husband Jack Brooksbank.

While they were dating, Harry made a number of secret visits to see Meghan, who was working as an actress on Suits in Canada.

“He came to see me in Toronto, and our friends and his cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came as well, and the four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes, just to have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple,” Meghan told DeGeneres.

DeGeneres added: “So you went with Harry to a Halloween party and they had no idea it was the two of you?”

“No,” Meghan said. “It was a post-apocalyptic theme, so we had all this bizarre costuming on, and we were able to just sort of have one final, fun night out.”

Queen Elizabeth’s two granddaughters both became mothers this year, as Princess Beatrice welcomed her daughter Sienna in September.

Princess Eugenie gave birth to her first child in February: a son named August.
