Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins has found love again.
Three years after her marriage to Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie ended, the popular Wiggle has announced her engagement to Oliver Brian, who plays in The Wiggles band.
Taking to Instagram, the 31-year-old posted a photo of her beaming besides her fiancé as she shows off her stunning engagement ring.
The photo is captioned: “When life gets more sparkly.”
Lachlan Gillespie was one of the first to show his support, writing “love you guys” with several Purple Heart emojis.
Blue Wiggle Anthony also wished the couple well, writing: “Sensational news! Congratulations!!!”
Speaking to Stellar magazine in 2019, Watkins said she had known Brian for four years before they began dating, describing him as “very opposite to me.”
“He’s a very calm and thoughtful person and I’ve always been interested in his mind and his take on life, and his morals,” she said.
“He loves talking about the environment and food production.
“It’s not very ‘Wiggly’, but it’s been nice for me to talk about things not just concerning ourselves, but people everywhere around the world.”
Others to take to Instagram to wish the Yellow Wiggle well included singer Samantha Jade, TV presenter Melissa Doyle, and socialite and fashion blogger Kate Waterhouse.
