Google has revealed the top 10 trending holiday destinations for 2020 according to users’ searches.

The search engine giant compiled the list of the up-and-coming places this year based on the number of hotel searches from January to December 2019 for holidays this year. The stats were compared against the searches from the previous year, and used to rank the destinations according to the search volume increase.

Coming out on top of the list was Vietnam’s Da Nang, a coastal city situated halfway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.

Brazil’s Sao Paulo and South Korean capital Seoul came in second and third respectively, while Japan’s Tokyo and Israel’s Tel Aviv rounded up the top five.
