Nestled near the ocean, the two-storey centre is one of the leading residential aged care centres in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. It offers outstanding facilities for 67 residents, with single, double and companionship rooms. Cosy lounge and dining areas allow residents to interact with each other and enjoy ocean views from the top floor. All rooms are beautifully appointed and residents can enjoy alfresco dining in the lovely courtyards.
From nutritious and tasty food designed by our dietitian to on-site hairdressing services and an in-house laundry, all aspects of care are thoughtfully delivered. SummitCare Waverley is close to public transport and shopping, making it easy for residents and their families to get out and about.
Residents can enjoy organised recreational activities such as scenic drives, barbecues, bowls and bingo, together with art therapy and pet therapy.
The wellbeing of the residents is our focus. Services are available from specialists such as optometrists, podiatrists and audiologists, and SummitCare Waverley has partnered with experts to create our popular mobility and exercise program.
We also offer the Play Up program, which delivers humour therapy to residents, and the Spark of Life program to improve the wellbeing of those with dementia.
SummitCare Waverley prides itself on the professional calibre of its staff, who attend regular education sessions to ensure high levels of service delivery that far exceed the required standards.
These initiatives complement SummitCare Waverley’s aim to set the benchmark for innovative, holistic aged care.
"Ron and myself were given a special 60th anniversary day we will not forget, tears and laughter combined - lovely people made our day."
For Ron to be accepted into SummitCare gave the family a great feeling - after many years of being settled in another home, we were then told we all had to vacate quickly as they were demolishing. I visited SummitCare and when the office later phoned to say Ron could stay, there were tears of relief.
As you enter the home you get a feeling of welcome, smiles, it is a great comfort to all. Dress up's, birthdays, public holidays are all celebrated, I enjoy them so much myself. Ron and myself were given a special 60th anniversary day we will not forget, tears and laughter combined - lovely people made our day.
The care and attention he recieves is wonderful, it helps us to keep on and visit with a smile.
