Adelaide Cabaret Festival

The 14th Adelaide Cabaret Festival is a major event in the international and Australian arts calendar. Beginning on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, the event has become the most comprehensive cabaret festival in the world, it has garnered a reputation of highlighting the best local, national and international artists in the cabaret genre, with classic and contemporary cabaret performances.

The Festival offers unforgettable nights of music, satire, comedy and storytelling. It’s about taking the opportunity to enjoy a well-known cabaret artist or you can be adventurous and explore something new to the cabaret scene.

The Festival will feature over 470 artists in 170 performances, ranging from the revered Archie Roach to the sassy Rhonda Burchmore channelling Marlena Dietrich. Hear great artists bring to life classic Sinatra hits plus much more. This will be Kate Ceberano’s final year as Artistic Director before she hands over the reins to Barry Humphries in 2015.
