How to make coconut milk

Use this simple and easy homemade recipe instead of buying canned or boxed coconut milk that are full of unhealthy preservatives and additives.

Ingredients:

4 cups filtered water
2 cups shredded coconut nut milk bag

Directions:

1. Heat the water until almost boiling.

2. Place the coconut and heated water into the blender. Blend on high until smooth.

3. Strain the coconut milk through the nut milk bag and then transfer to an airtight container (I suggest mason jars). Refrigerate and use within three days. Shake well before using.
