From celebrated Australian director Rohan Spong, this uplifting and life-affirming documentary has been filmed across one extraordinary year in a unique New York artist housing project known as Westbeth.

Over the year, video artist Edith Stephen (95) hopes to complete an experimental film for her birthday; dancer Dudley Williams (75) rehearses for an electrifying return to the stage; and published poet Ilsa Gilbert (82) faces her impending mortality with revealingly candid poetry.

As winter descends upon Westbeth, the long-term inhabitants of this unique community continue to draw meaning from many varied artistic outlets, inspiring both themselves and others in the process.
