“Is there a more beautiful feeling in life?” asks André Rieu. “When you fall in love your cheeks flush, your heart beats faster and your head starts spinning… but you are as happy as one can be.”

According to The King of the Waltz, whenever he looks at the audience during his concerts, he gets the feeling that everybody is in love, “All due to the fantastic magical power of music!”

Hits and ballads from universally loved movies
Combined with evergreen melodies that have touched the hearts of millions over the last six decades, André Rieu's new album Falling In Love will be released in Australia one month ahead of the rest of the world.

The album features timeless tracks such as Judy Garland's Over The Rainbow and Simon & Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair.

It includes fan-favourite sing-alongs from some of the world’s most beloved singers including Leonard Cohen and Elvis Presley, and themes from Cats, Romeo and Juliet and Titanic.

Rieu's album release will coincide with his nationwide concert appearances, beginning his Australian tour in Brisbane on October 18, with performances in Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth to follow.

Along with his album, Rieu's spectacular 2016 Maastricht concert will also be available on DVD. Screened earlier this year in cinemas and breaking box office records, Falling in Love in Maastricht had over 80,000 people enjoy the Maestro’s annual city-square sound-and-music take-over live.

With special guest performances and more than 100 waltzers, the concert features classic hits from André’s extraordinary repertoire, plus brand new songs and arrangements prepared especially for the show.
