With the new season of Gogglebox Australia set to hit screens in the coming months, Network Ten is looking for high-spirited seniors to join the cast.
Successful applicants will join the cast of Gogglebox Australia for their 18th season, and share their expert opinions on all things TV and movies.
If you love to commentate on your favourite shows with your family, significant other or friends, and can’t hold back your emotions when indulging in your precious TV time, this could be the gig for you.
“We are on the lookout for vibrant seniors who may be interested in appearing on our show!” says Casting Director Amelia Barrett. “We’re searching for everyday people with something to say, and folks that have opinions they’d like to share.”
“We love a quick wit, a unique turn of phrase and heaps of personality!”

The call-out for Aussie seniors to join the cast comes after the Silbery Family made the difficult decision that Emmie, the matriarch of the family, will be stepping down from the show in 2023.
At age 94, Emmie has been part of the Gogglebox family since the three women joined for season three in 2016.
Kerry and Izzy will return to the couch and will be sure to regale the audience with their wisdom that the public have so fondly enjoyed over the years.
