Lisa Wilkinson has started 2023 on a positive note, sharing the pearl of wisdom she will be taking with her into the new year.
The former host of The Project shared an inspirational quote to her Instagram page, saying she’s “never been one for New Year’s resolutions” but would be carrying the motivational quote with her this year.
The quote reads, “The best weight you will ever lose is is the weight of other people’s opinion of you”, which is pictured written on a woman’s legs in Lisa’s post.
Along with the snap, she wrote, “I’ve never been one for New Year’s Resolutions. In 2023, I’m making an exception though, for this blinding gem of wisdom. Who wants to join me?️️️️”
Lisa’s post has racked up over 18,000 likes, with her celebrity friends commenting that they are sharing a similar mindset for the new year.
Surfing champ Lane Beachley said, “Game on sister!”, while Laura Henshaw and Paris Hilton both commented, “Love this!!”
At the end of 2022, Lisa shocked her fans by announcing she would be leaving The Project after five years on the show.
The presenter cited a difficult last six months marked by “relentless, targeted toxicity”, saying, “It’s time to reprioritise a few things in my life.”
