Prince Philip has spent his fifth night in a hospital in London.

The 99-year-old was admitted to King Edward VII’s Hospital on Tuesday evening as a precautionary measure after he reportedly said he felt unwell.

Reports also say he walked in unaided.

His eldest son Prince Charles made the 320 kilometre round-trip from his home in Gloucestershire on Saturday afternoon to visit his father.

It is thought Charles had not seen his father since before Christmas due to the nationwide coronavirus restrictions.

Philip has been staying cooped up at Windsor Castle with the Queen.

Kensington Palace has not released any information regarding his health but have confirmed it is not related to coronavirus.

The hospital’s website has stated that visitors will “only be considered in exceptional circumstances”.

Prince Harry is reportedly isolating with his family at his Californian mansion so he can rush home to the United Kingdom in case his grandfather’s condition worsens.
