Homemade smoothies are the perfect way to boost your vitamin and nutrient intake during the warmer months – but rely too heavily on juicing or blending your fruit, and you could end up missing out on essential fibre throughout the day.

Vegetable-based smoothies, on the other hand, are packed with a high number of nutrients, are low in calories and help control cravings.

Here’s our round up of the best thirst-quenching veggie smoothies that are not only easy to make, but look and taste great too.
