The Royal Family are sending their best wishes to Princess Anne in honour of her 72nd birthday.

On Monday the 15th of August, the only daughter to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip was inundated with tributes via social media from all three of the Royal Family’s official accounts.

The Royal’s man account shared a photo of Princess Anne from the Not Forgotten Association Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace in May.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall shared that same post to their instagram story, while Prince William and Kate Middleton added their congratulations and well wishes over on Instagram and Twitter.

Anne has two children, Zara Tindall and Peter Philips and previously held the honour of competing as an olympic level equestrian, with Zara has following in her foot steps.

Known for her tough work ethic, she remains one of the hardest working Royals, attending hundreds of royal engagements each year.

Princess Anna has clocked up an impressive 506 coming in second to her brother, Prince Charles while he sits at a whopping 521 events. She is involved with over 300 charities and organisations and was bestowed the honour of Royal Princess in 1987.

Next in line for the title is Princess Charlotte when her father Prince William eventually becomes king.
