Neighbours star Ben Nicholas and his wife Stephanie have welcomed a baby boy into their lives.

Ben, who played Scott ‘Stingray’ Timmins on the show, is adjusting to his new life as a dad just days after Stephanie gave birth to Jesse Lilja Nicholas last Thursday.

“On the 23rd of June we welcomed our little bundle of poop and sleep deprivation into this world,” he announced on Instagram.

“My super hero wife was an absolute beast, couldn’t have been prouder or more in awe! Prepare for photo bombs!!”

Ben then posted a series of photos of little Jesse, as did doting mum Stephanie.

“What an amazing ride. Welcoming this little bundle into the world,” she said in a touching Instagram post.

Stingray was arguably one of the most loveable characters on Neighbours, with his cheeky antics winning over audiences each and every night.

Stingray’s character left Erinsborough in 2007 after the fan favourite was killed off.

Since leaving the soap, he featured in a TV mini series called Neighbours vs. Zombies.

In 2015 he starred in a spoof game show called Footballer Wants A Wife – a series he wrote and starred in – where he played hunky and arrogant Steven.
