Robert Irwin shared an emotional and heart-warming tribute to his late father, Steve Irwin.

The video message, which was posted to mark Father’s Day (celebrated last weekend in other parts of the world) shows Steve, Robert and his sister Bindi having fun at Australia Zoo.

Steve Irwin died in 2006, when Robert was only three. The now 18-year-old’s TikTok video showed the father and son cuddling, walking along a beach and playing with a lizard.

@robertirwinI had the best dad in the world. Thinking of him and remembering nothing but fun times. I hope you all had a wonderful Father’s Day in the US – sending love to those who couldn’t celebrate with their Dad ❤️♬ Photograph (Instrumental) – Neena Goh

“I had the best dad in the world,” he captioned the video.

“Thinking of him and remembering nothing but fun times.

On Twitter, Robert posted another tribute, praising his brother-in-law Chandler for being a great father.

“Father’s Day is a day filled with emotion – I think of my Dad a lot & remember him fondly,” Robert wrote.

“But now, I also think about & admire my brother-in-law Chandler & what a fantastic father he is to my niece, Grace”.

Robert’s followers reached out with kind words of support.
