Karl Stefanovic has broken down on TV as he spoke about his daughter completing her end-of-year school exams.
The Today Show hosts were speaking about the flooding in Victoria and the difficulties some students would be facing for their final exams.
Karl then gave a shout out to his eldest daughter Ava Willow as she sits through the HSC exams.
“I will do an embarrassing dad thing, my daughter Ava is in year 12 and almost finished her HSC,” an emotional Karl said.
“I want to say how proud I am of her, she has really done incredibly well, as a dad watching her work, do all the work she has done, the way she has dealt with the pressures and the stress of it makes my heart sing.
“I love you.”
Tears welled up in Karl’s eyes with him getting embarrassed saying: “Oh, jeez … okay I’m ready to go”.
Earlier in the year, Karl shared photos of him with Ava before she headed off to her school formal.
