Olympian Lisa Curry has slammed a scammer who was trying to profit from her daughter's tragic death.

Curry and former husband Grant Kenny announced the death of their daughter on Monday evening after a long battle with an unspecified illness.

One day later, a con artist had set up a Facebook page and was impersonating Curry's husband Mark Andrew Tabone.

The page was used in an attempt to con people into donating to a fundraiser called the “Jaimi Kenny Fund”.

After hearing about the page, Curry posted a warning on her Facebook page alerting people that it was fake.

“Some people,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

“Someone has started a (Donorbox) on Mark Andrew Tabone’s FB page…. this is NOT US…”

“It’s also sending friend requests.”

“PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ANYTHING FROM THIS FAKE ACCOUNT,” she finished, in all caps.

Jaimi, 33, passed away on Monday morning after following a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
