On the list of things that you never want to see lying on the floor at an airport, a baby is probably pretty high up there. Which is a big part of the reason why the image below has become one of the world’s most controversial travel photos.

But all is not as it seems.
Molly Lensing, who appears to be ignoring her child in the viral image, has spoken to Today.comand believes the picture doesn't tell the whole story.
“We had the unfortunate luck of being stuck in the middle of the Delta computer shutdown,”the mother of three explained.
Lensing had reportedly spent 20 hour sitting in the airport with her then two-month-old baby as her flight was delayed and rebooked multiple times.
“Anastasia had been held or in her carrier for many hours. My arms were tired. She needed to stretch. And I had to communicate with all the family members wondering where the heck we were,” said Lensing, who works part-time as a nurse.
“I absolutely feel as though my privacy was violated. I had recently started working on a labor floor, and I was terrified of my co-workers or boss seeing the photo and comments and believing that I should no longer work with infants. Thankfully, this never happened.”
While Lensing doesn’t think about it much now, she says the experience has made her wary about casting judgement on other photos making the rounds on the internet.
“I ignore the photos and the comments and lean on those close to me who know the real me,” said Lensing.
