Karl Stefanovic’s ex-wife has embarked upon an interesting career change after working for years as a TV producer and journalist.
Cassandra Thorburn, who is also a published children’s author and shares three children with Karl, is now working as a dental nurse and receptionist.
The revelation came by way of an interview with Cassandra and Karl’s eldest son Jackson, who told Woman’s Day of the change in direction.
“Mum’s our rock,” the 23-year-old revealed. “She’s very happy, and is currently working as a dental nurse and receptionist at a local practice, and she continues to inspire me every day.”
Karl and Cassandra were married for 21 years before going their separate ways in 2016.
The Nine presenter then met his current wife, shoe designer and former model Jasmine Yarbrough, just five months after the messy split with Cassandra.
Karl and Jasmine soon tied the knot in late 2018, and welcomed their daughter Harper in 2020.
